Sublime is Taking Over the ParkStage Summer Concert Series

Sublime takes the stage at ParkStage on Friday, June 19 at 7 PM for a night packed with the band's signature mix of reggae, punk, ska, and rock. Fans can expect classics like "Santeria," "What I Got," and "Wrong Way," along with newer material from the band's latest chapter featuring Jakob Nowell alongside original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh.

The show is part of the inaugural season of ParkStage, Monmouth County's new outdoor concert venue, making it one of the bigger live music nights of the summer.

Whether you've been listening to Sublime for decades or just know every word to the songs that somehow end up on every summer playlist, this feels like a pretty solid way to spend a Friday night.

The Sand & Sea Arts Festival Makes Its Debut

Ocean Grove is adding a new tradition to its summer calendar, and it sounds like a pretty good excuse to spend a day by the shore.

The inaugural Sand & Sea Arts Festival takes place on Saturday, June 13 from 10am to 3pm along Ocean Pathway, bringing together local artists, makers, live music, kids activities, and plenty of coastal charm in one of the Shore’s most picturesque settings.

Expect talented vendors, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and lots of opportunities to wander, browse, and convince yourself that one more handmade item is a completely reasonable purchase.

If your perfect summer day involves ocean breezes, local art, and a leisurely stroll through one of the Shore’s most charming towns, this one belongs on your calendar.

Highlands Gets Loud with On the Bay Fest

Dust off the band tees and prepare to hear songs you definitely still know every word to.

On The Bay Fest takes over The Sandbox at Seastreak in Highlands on Saturday, June 20 from 12 PM to 10 PM, bringing a full day of live music, waterfront views, food, drinks, and enough pop-punk nostalgia to transport you straight back to the mid-2000s.

Formerly known as the Bayville Music Festival, the event is settling into its new waterfront home and bringing its biggest lineup yet. Headlining the festival is The Warped Tour Band, performing a set packed with hits from Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Sum 41, and more.

Whether you were actually at Warped Tour or just wished you were, this feels like the perfect way to kick off summer.

Lace Up for the Red Bank Classic 5K

Whether you're chasing a personal best or just chasing the after-party, the Red Bank Classic is back on Saturday, June 20 for one of the area's most popular race-day traditions.

The action kicks off with the 5K race at 8:30 AM, sending runners through downtown Red Bank before the festivities continue throughout the morning. At 9:00 AM, Band on Broad brings live music to the streets, followed by leader awards at 9:30 AM and the always-entertaining kids race at 10:00 AM.

Even if you're not running, it's a great excuse to grab a coffee, cheer from the sidelines, and enjoy a lively summer morning in Red Bank. And once the finish line festivities wrap up, the official after-parties begin. Because sometimes the hardest part of a 5K is deciding where to celebrate afterward.
