Happy Tuesday, Monmouth County! I swear this was the tenth Memorial Day Weekend in a row with bad weather, but this one really went above and beyond. Rain, wind, sweatshirts… not exactly beach season energy.

Sip Your Way Through Asbury Park Summer Fest
Saturday plans for June 27 are looking pretty solid. The Asbury Park Beer, Wine & Spirits Fest is bringing samples from around the world to Bradley Park from 1 PM to 4:30 PM, and honestly, that feels like a very respectable way to spend an afternoon at the shore.
Expect plenty of beer, wine, and spirits to try, plus live entertainment, food vendors, games, and the kind of energy that usually starts with “I’ll just have one sample” and ends three hours later with a new favorite drink and zero sense of direction.
Whether you’re a craft beer person, a wine person, or just there for the vibes and snacks, this one feels like a solid excuse to spend a summer Saturday outside in Asbury Park.
Kid Rock and Jon Pardi Are Kicking Off Summer Concerts at PNC
If it finally feels like summer is here, the parking lot at PNC Bank Arts Center on a Friday night will probably confirm it.
Kid Rock is bringing his tour to Holmdel on June 5 with special guest Jon Pardi, kicking off another summer of concerts down the shore. Between the tailgates, lawn chairs, and the smell of grilled hot dogs floating through the parking lot, it’s basically a Jersey Shore summer tradition at this point.
Kid Rock’s shows are part country concert, part rock show, part giant backyard party. Add Jon Pardi to the lineup and it’s an easy excuse to spend a Friday night outside pretending you only came for “one drink.”
For a lot of people, this is the concert that officially starts the season. Grab your tickets below!
Step Inside Spring Lake’s 45th Annual House Tour
The 45th Annual Spring Lake Historical Society House Tour is happening Thursday, June 4, from 10 AM to 3 PM, giving visitors a rare peek inside some of Spring Lake’s most beautiful homes. Think grand porches, perfectly styled kitchens, historic details, and the kind of coastal charm that makes you consider becoming a “morning walk on Third Ave” person.
The self-guided tour begins at the Spring Lake Train Station, where tickets and maps will be available starting at 9:30 AM. Coffee will also be served because admiring million-dollar homes is better caffeinated.
Whether you’re into architecture, interior design, local history, or just love being nosy in a socially acceptable way, this is one of Spring Lake’s signature spring events for a reason.
The Monmouth Film Festival Is Back
The Monmouth Film Festival is back at Bell Works from May 29 through May 31 with three days of films, premieres, panels, live events and more.
Opening night kicks off with the New Jersey premiere of Power Ballad starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas at the Bell Theater. Throughout the weekend, visitors can check out independent films, filmmaker Q&As, workshops, networking events, live jazz and red carpet moments inside the iconic Severance filming location.
Whether you’re a movie buff or just looking for a unique night out, this is one weekend worth adding to the calendar.
