Happy Tuesday, Monmouth County! Somewhere between “just one Peep” and “how did that box disappear,” I realized Easter might be more dangerous than Halloween with my sugar intake this weekend.

  • A Spring Celebration with Monmouth County Family Club

  • Annual Kites at Pier Village

  • Spring Closet Cleaning @ 3BR Distillery

  • Beach Bee’s SpringFest Is Back April 18

A Spring Celebration with Monmouth County Family Club

Spring weekends are starting to fill up, and this is the kind of plan you say yes to immediately. The Spring Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by Monmouth County Family Club, is happening on Sunday, April 12 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and it is shaping up to be one of those afternoons where everyone leaves in a better mood than they arrived.

There is a full egg hunt across the property, plus music, games, food, drinks, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Plus plenty of space to hang out and actually enjoy the spring weather. It is the kind of event where kids stay busy and parents get to relax a little…a rare combination.

Beyond the activities, it is also a great way to meet other local families and see what the Monmouth County Family Club is all about. They are a new club opening in 2026, all about giving families an exclusive community where they can come together and have an amazing place for families to relax. Think resort vibes but with people you’ll actually see more than one pina colada at the hotel bar!

Spots are limited, so locking this in ahead of time is the move. Grab your tickets below!

Annual Kites at Pier Village

Clear your Saturday, this is the kind of plan that feels straight out of a movie. The Annual Kites at the Pier Festival is taking over Pier Village on Saturday, April 11 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and yes, the sky will be full of kites all day long. Bring your own or grab one there and join in as the ocean breeze does most of the work for you.

Beyond the kite flying, there is a full lineup to keep things interesting. Live music from The Nerds runs from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, plus face painting, a makers market, stilt walkers, and even a bubble artist station that feels oddly entertaining at any age.

It is free, easy, and built for wandering. Grab food, walk the boardwalk, maybe convince yourself you are good at flying a kite, and call it a very solid day by the beach.

Spring Closet Cleaning @ 3BR Distillery

Your closet has been quietly begging for a reset, and this is your excuse to finally do something about it.

A Free Clothing Swap is happening on Tuesday, April 14 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 3BR Distillery in Keyport, and it is basically spring cleaning with a reward built in. Bring the pieces you no longer wear and trade them out for something that actually sparks joy this time around.

The concept is simple. Drop off what you do not want, browse what everyone else brought, and leave with a few “new” additions without spending a dollar. You do not even need to bring anything to participate, so if you are just in the mood to browse, that works too.

It is low effort, sustainable, and a lot more fun than staring at your closet wondering what to get rid of. Plus, anything left over gets donated, so nothing goes to waste.

Clean out your closet, find a few hidden gems, and call it a very productive night out.HERE!

Beach Bee’s SpringFest Is Back April 18

SpringFest at Beach Bee is happening on Saturday, April 18 from 6-9 PM , bringing a full day of good vibes, fresh air, and live music to the waterfront. It is the kind of easygoing plan where you show up for a drink and end up staying way longer than expected.

Live music kicks in with Chris Morrisy, setting the tone for an afternoon that feels like the start of summer. Add in drinks, food, and that perfect “we made it through winter” energy, and you have yourself a solid Saturday.

Whether you are meeting friends or just looking for an excuse to be outside, this is one of those events that does not require much planning. Just show up, grab a drink, and let the day do its thing.
