Happy Tuesday, Monmouth County! Sunday and Monday’s weather was almost suspiciously nice, so naturally I canceled all indoor plans and committed to being outside for as long as possible. Spring is back and I plan on to act accordingly from now on.

On the docket:

  • Raise a Pint, It’s BeerFest Week at Pier Village

  • Shake Things Up: Cocktail Class at Supper Club

  • Complimentary Pickleball Clinics at Bell Works

  • Opening Weekend is Here at Keansburg Amusement Park

  • Live Music Lowdown

Raise a Pint, It’s BeerFest Week at Pier Village

If your idea of a perfect week includes ocean air, cold beer, and casually saying “let’s grab one” five nights in a row… this is your moment.

BeerFest at Pier Village is taking over the shoreline from April 7–11, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM each night, and it’s basically a full week dedicated to doing what you were already planning to do anyway, just with better views and better beer.

Hosted by The Robinson Ale House, the event brings rotating craft brews, $5 pint specials, and a lineup of solid pub food (think sliders, quesadillas, and the kind of snacks that somehow disappear immediately). Each night features different breweries, so if you’re the type to say “I’ll try something new,” you actually can.

Whether you’re deep into the craft beer scene or just here for the vibes, it’s an easy midweek plan for everyone.

Shake Things Up: Cocktail Class at Supper Club

Consider this your official invitation to step behind the bar.

Supper Club is hosting a hands-on Cocktail Making Class on April 8th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, where you’ll learn how to actually craft a solid drink instead of defaulting to the same order every time. For $50, you’ll be guided by a professional bartender through the essentials.

You won’t just be watching either. Every guest makes their own drinks, which means you get to test your skills in real time and enjoy the results as you go. There are also curated light bites in the mix, because learning new skills is better with snacks.

It’s equal parts productive and fun, with just enough structure to feel like you learned something and just enough cocktails to forget you were “learning” at all. Show up right at 5:00 and get ready to leave with a new party trick.

Complimentary Pickleball Clinics at Bell Works

Pickleball has officially reached the point where you can’t ignore it anymore, so you might as well learn it for free.

Every Monday in April, Bell Works is hosting a Complimentary Intro to Pickleball Clinic, giving beginners a chance to step on the court and actually understand what’s going on. The sessions are run by Jersey Pickleball Club, so you’ll get real instruction on the basics like serving, scoring, and keeping a rally going.

It’s designed to be easy to jump into, whether you’re showing up solo or bringing a friend who’s just as new. No long term commitment, no equipment stress, just a simple way to try something new and get moving.

Spots fill up quickly, so make sure to reserve yours using the link below.

Opening Weekend is Here at Keansburg Amusement Park

Keansburg Amusement Park kicks off Opening Weekend April 3–5 and gates open at noon. It’s your first taste of the season where funnel cake basically counts as a food group and “just one more ride” somehow turns into five.

Expect all the classics: rides from easygoing to mildly questionable, games you swear you can win, and that unbeatable mix of ocean air and fried everything. Whether you’re chasing nostalgia or just a little early spring chaos, it delivers.

It’s the kind of plan that feels spontaneous but somehow eats up your whole day in the best way. Show up hungry, pack a little patience for lines, and lean into Opening Weekend like you’ve been waiting all winter for it.MAKE
