Highlands Fiesta de Mayo, Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Celebration @ Bakes Brewing Co, 13th Annual Asbury Park Restaurant Tour, Live Music Lowdown
Happy Tuesday, Monmouth County! I walked outside on Saturday, checked the UV index (it was a 4), and still somehow got roasted like it was midsummer. Lesson learned: the spring sun is sneaky…don’t tell my dermatologist.
On the docket:
Sip, Stroll, Repeat: Highlands Fiesta de Mayo
Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Celebration @ Bakes Brewing Co
13th Annual Asbury Park Restaurant Tour
Live Music Lowdown
Sip, Stroll, Repeat: Highlands Fiesta de Mayo
If your ideal Saturday involves sunshine, margaritas, and a little bar-hopping, this one’s for you.
Head down to Highlands for the 5th Annual Fiesta de Mayo Cantina Crawl on Saturday, May 2 from 12–5PM. The day kicks off at Huddy Park, where you’ll check in before making your way around town sampling margaritas from local spots.
Each stop is serving up their best version of the classic, so yes, you get to taste and vote for your favorite. Expect live mariachi music, food specials, and plenty of reasons to stay out longer than you planned.
It’s equal parts crawl, competition, and early summer kickoff, basically Cinco de Mayo but make it a full day event by the water. Grab your tickets below!
Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Celebration @ Bakes Brewing Co
Looking for an Easter activity that keeps everyone happy, not just the kids? This one checks all the boxes.
Bakes Brewing Co. in Belmar is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Celebration on Sunday, March 29 starting at 11 AM, and it is the kind of event where everyone leaves happy.
The kids get the full experience with an egg hunt and plenty of space to run around, while you get to hang out at a brewery that actually makes day drinking feel productive. There will be local vendors, Girl Scout treats, and food from Mama’s Original Fried Pizza and The Empanada Guy. It is outdoors, it is festive, and it conveniently involves good beer.
Whether you show up for the egg hunt or just stay for another round, it is an easy way to turn a Saturday into something a little more fun than usual.
13th Annual Asbury Park Restaurant Tour
Clear your schedule and come hungry. The 13th Annual Asbury Park Restaurant Tour is back on Sunday, April 26 from 12 to 4 PM, and it is basically a walking cheat day through one of the best food scenes at the Jersey Shore.
Hosted by the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce, this one day tasting event brings together everything from local legends to new spots worth knowing. Think small bites, samples, and demos spread across restaurants, cafes, lounges, and even juice bars around Asbury Park.
It is part food crawl, part choose your own adventure, and fully an excuse to eat all day. Wear stretchy pants and pace yourself.
