Hey Red Bank seafood lovers! Exciting news—Boondocks Fishery is reopening for the season on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Located at 1 Marine Park, this beloved spot is known for its fresh seafood and laid-back atmosphere.​

To celebrate the reopening, Boondocks is bringing back their popular "Party Like a Lob*Star" special every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: enjoy two lobsters with corn and potatoes for $36.95. So, mark your calendars and get ready to dive into some delicious seafood by the Navesink River!​

Bites, Beats & Beach Vibes: Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival Rolls Into Summer

If you’re hanging around for Memorial Day weekend, don’t miss the Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival at Monmouth Park, running May 24–26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. With tons of trucks serving everything from tacos to lobster rolls (and desserts you didn’t know you needed), it’s the perfect way to kick off summer.

Admission is $6, but kids 12 and under get in free. Food prices vary by vendor, so come hungry and ready to explore. Parents—if your student “forgets” to mention it, go ahead and text them the link. Just don’t be shocked when they vanish into a waffle cone and crab fries combo.
