New Congestion Pricing to Fund New Manasquan-Point Pleasant Bridge

Get Your Hands Dirty for a Good Cause: Earth Day Planting at Holmdel Park
If you're free on April 22nd, swing by Holmdel Park from 5:00 to 6:30 PM for an Earth Day Planting event. You'll team up with a Park Naturalist to plant native species that help restore local forests and support wildlife. Supplies are provided — just come ready to dig in (literally). But get there on time; plants are limited and it's not a "first come, fist fight" situation!
It's a fun, low-key way to give back and enjoy some fresh air. Whether you're coming with friends or flying solo, you'll leave feeling good — and a little muddy. Park in the Forest Edge lot and come find us!

Taste Your Way Through Asbury: 12th Annual Restaurant Tour Returns April 27
Hey Monmouth County foodies! Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 27th from 12–4 PM, because the Asbury Park Restaurant Tour is back for its 12th year. This is your chance to stroll through one of the coolest shore towns while sampling bites from the area’s best restaurants, lounges, juice bars, and more. Think of it as a delicious scavenger hunt — minus the clues and plus the calories (worth it).
Whether you're a brunch lover, cocktail sipper, or someone who just goes where the food is, this tour has something for everyone. Bring your appetite, wear your stretchy pants, and maybe skip breakfast — we’re not saying it's a competition, but your stomach should come prepared.

New Congestion Pricing to Fund New Manasquan-Point Pleasant Bridge
Monmouth County officials have announced a new congestion pricing plan for travelers heading east of Route 53. The revenue generated from this initiative will fund the construction of a bridge connecting Manasquan to Point Pleasant Beach. This project aims to alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity between these coastal communities.
The proposed bridge is expected to enhance local transportation infrastructure, providing a more direct route for residents and visitors. By implementing congestion pricing, the county seeks to manage traffic flow effectively while generating necessary funds for the bridge's construction. Further details on the pricing structure and project timeline are anticipated in upcoming announcements.
